Great video production and some superb images. Really liked the more 'street' style images early on and the longer exposures of the power station worked really well. Love the final image. Nice work, thanks for sharing

Thanks mate, most places see a proper camera and tripod and think your a professional doing it for commercial gain I think, I did explain its for personal use but they were not changing their minds.

I loves three images: The wide angle shots across the river with the ND filters, and the image of the Glide (I would clone out the string of lights, but that's just me).

Great video Lee, you got some great indoor shots before being turfed out really liked the style of those shots. The long exposures of the exterior were fantastic the portrait of the power station itself was a favourite 👍

Great set of images, I haven't been to London for quite a few years now for photography, I have the the K&F filters & still to try them out properly.........

Thanks for watching mate, take the filters to London to birds and all that. You won't be disappointed, I was pleasantly surprised.

You got a cracking set of images Lee, I particularly like the "street' compositions... where you brought out great elements of the scenes.... like the reflection of the towers and the boubles ...... As with a lot of London, the cracking down of photographers is such a pain and takes a lot of the joy out of what for me is a stress releiver of a hobby :-(

Hi mate, thanks for the comment, there is a law that says ant area that the public are given access to be it paid or free becomes public land for that purpose and as we all know you can take a photo from any public land, its the law , but even if you are right these companies believe they are right and instruct their staff accordingly , i cant be bothered anymore having that debate as like you say i am just out trying to enjoy my day. Glad you like the images it is a nice area and looks great with all the Christmas lights etc. Thanks again all the best for 2024

That was a great vlog mate, really enjoyed watching that and seeing that location again looks like they've done a great job with it since the last time I was there. Shame about the no tripods rule, but I guess that is standard throughout the busier parts of London, but you managed some great handhelds. However, the long exposure at Victoria Station was my favorite - I always love a good train/train track image and what a background the power station makes! Loved everything about this vlog. Hope you and your family are doing well pal, have a great weekend!

Thanks Paul, the power station certainly has been given a new lease of life. I kind of can understand the tripod rule in busy areas, could be seen as a possible blocking or tripping hazard but no mirrorless/dslrs think that is beyond a joke and nobody seems to give a rational reason why that is. The shot of the railway was a last min rushed shot due to the weather but i had intended on that location so as i was so close i was going to at least have a go, glad you liked it. Thanks again mate, take care.

Great vlog Lee with some superb images too I find it crazy that you can’t use a tripod, and as far not allowing you to use a DSLR it is totally laughable. Who makes the rules! It’s bloody crazy 🤪

Thanks mate , all these private security companies do it , but anywhere the public are given access to wether paid or otherwise then becomes public land and as we all know you can take images on any public land , but I just can't be doing with discussion these days. Its a nice area now , full of designer labels but some fantastic architecture around the area. Hope your well and happy new year to you too mate.

Great shots, Lee. I really like the last shot with the light trails from the train. Grumpy security guards, I can never understand the rule where phones are OK but cameras aren't. If you were a terrorist you'd want to attract the least amount of attention so you wouldn't be using a DSLR! How are you finding the dji pocket 3?
@LeePelling
@LeePelling Жыл бұрын
Thanks mate, i did enjoy the wander around Battersea and using the pocket 3 for the first time . So far i am really happy with it, its so small and compact compared to my old vlogging set up. That also has its down side, i dont shoot auto i set everything to manual and use the 180 degree rule, so need NDs . The NDs on this are so small and fiddly to set and i found judging the exposure difficult on such a small screen with no histogram etc. But the footage i think looks pretty good using the variable NDs with built in mist filter from Freewell. Some small niggles from a otherwise perfect camera for vlogging ! Happy New Year to you mate, hope your well, take care !
