Thanks Dave, it was only really half way round the reservoir I thought , I could do a voice-over I had taken a fair amount of b roll by that point. Think I may need to brush up on my narration skills but I think it came out OK. Look forward to seeing what you manage to put together soon!

It seems every view in that valley is just picture perfect! What stunning large views and beautiful intimate scenes. So many wonderful images captured in this one mate, my personal fav was that beautiful waterfall scene at 5:20 - love the way that tree hangs into the scene. Really enjoyed it mate. Great video mate! What a beautiful location although the weather looked a little rough with the wind and changing conditions. It looked like there could be multiple compositions available from different angles that would work in different weather conditions. Always nice to go back to a beautiful location. Great.images mate and the original one from 2019 was spectacular! Hope you are well pal, have a great weekend 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Nice one Lee... a location I often admired from others work and somewhere I would be sure to visit if i was ever in the area... the church and them rocks lend them self to good compositions and even though you didn't come away with a colourful sunset your selection of images was really good... I think the last image was probably my fave. Good watch.. atb Alan

Not the best images.😮 I thought they came out great given the weather conditions you had to work with. Whilst you were talking about shot number two, I was thinking I'd go for a portrait shot with the rocks in the foreground leading you up to the church.....and low and behold that was your third comp.😂 nice location and a good video Lee.

Nice tutorial. But I'm wondering what 50% grey layer actually meant for and how it calculate the color information of this layer? Is 50% grey layer used only dodge and burning image? Besides dodging and burning what more use of 50% grey layer?
@LeePelling

I only really use a 50% grey layer for dodging and burning , its just a technique i been using for several years, as with many things in photoshop its not the only way but my preferred method

Hey Lee, great video and beautiful images. Can I ask you about that tripod and tripod head you are using?
@LeePelling
@LeePelling Ай бұрын
The tripod is the three legged thing Winston , think they have a version 2 out now, great tripod from a great British company. The head is a geared head from Benro , after many years using a bullhead u made the switch to a geared head and for landscape photography it's fantastic. You can really refine your composition easily with the geared controls. Thanks for watching hope that helps. All the best.

I’d agree the bluebells are earlier this year Lee looking back at my images from last year - been out a couple of times to my local woods but not had the right conditions to capture anything decent. Losing kit is par for the course of in this dangerous game 🤣 My mic dropped off my lapel as I was boarding a train but luckily I heard it drop and rescued it otherwise that would have been very costly ! Loved the early sunlight images and the muted light later on still proved to illuminate some pretty scenes . All the best mate 👍🏻

Shame about you lens cap, although I half expected you to say a monkey had reached out and stole it at the zoo, at least then you'd have a funny story to go with the loss! Yeah I agree about the bluebells sprouting early, I definitely thought that this year, haven't actually had chance to go out and capture anything myself yet and noticed a small coppice of bells near my house that are already looking past their best. I think I've seen these woods in another video of yours before, nice to have such a beautiful local go to area. I think we have bluebells here in West Virginia so I'm going to be searching them out this weekend. Our wildflowers are really going crazy right now. Hope you are doing well pal. Hi mate thanks for your continued support, i have made a few videos from here in the past as its about a 50 min drive from home and a large woodland, sadly not so many interesting trees but for bluebells it is a great display. I was happy with the first couple of images when i did get some light but after that i struggled, mix of weather and practice i think. Good luck in your search and i look forward to seeing what you capture in your beautiful part of the World. Take care mate .
