I love americans in europe being all fascinated by classic old buildings! Like, my boyfriend lives in a house that's 250 years old and the church next to it is from 1600-something. It certainly makes our cities amazingly beautiful having all of these old buldings to guide the way for new ones :)

Nobody ever puts the RedBull Hangar 7 at the Salzburg airport on their "things to do in Salzburg" videos. Free admittance. 5 star restaurant inside. Every cool and well worth the taxi ride from the train station.

I share your frustration in getting people to take your picture somewhere. Nobody knows how to "frame" the picture. And I'm not even artistic but I have a knack for composing a picture.

Evan, thanks for the helpful video, but please slow your speech down a bit to make it more easily understandable, even to us native English speakers. I still have no idea what the name of the German dish is that you obsessed about finding because you would rattle through it so fast, I could not get it.

Es ist toll zu sehen, wie du die deutsche und österreichische Kultur entdeckst und dabei die Sprache übst. Hast du auch vor, mal nach Norddeutschland zu fahren? Ein Wochenende in Hamburg oder Lübeck wäre bestimmt ein guter Kontrast zum süddeutschen Flair.

I lived in salzburg for about 4 years and if you ever want to go back to visit it again i could tell u some really exotic places in salzburg to get even closer to the city and get to know the city better.

We just were in Salzburg about a week ago and then onto Vienna, but you are so right! It was so beautiful there, especially with all the Christmas markets out. Was glad to see this video where everything was so green and warmer than what we experienced! haha

I visited Salzburg for a few days when I lived in Austria to study, during Christmas time back in 2014, absolutely one of my favourite cities I've visited I think! Anyways, great vid!
