I always love your videos with the inside shots of the mosques. Soooo beautiful! I crack up watching Trey and heights. Mannnnn, I'd pass out! Seriously, couldn't do it. I'd look like an idiot crawling on my belly to keep from seeing how high up that I was. Lol! This summer heat has been horrible all over the world... stay hydrated! 😁

Thankfully I didn't have to climb the minaret this time🤣 these are seriously so much fun to film though. The heat definitely doesn't help, but we're starting to learn that splitting up the filming over two days is MUCH more manageable. We can't wait to show you more of this region!!! Thank you so much for your support Jan!!!!!❤️

Thank you so much for watching!!! You're definitely going at a much better time than we did. Tirana's such a great city, but it's just so hot in the summer. Have a great time & keep us posted on if you do anything that we missed out on!!!!

100º F? Yes, for some odd reason the heat is back on, here also. We had a couple of "normal" days but now right back up to 95º F or more! Tirana looks very interesting, big city with lots to see and do. Not only you show us around but also give us history lessons, we really appreciate all the effort you guys put in these videos. These are getting better each time!

Thank you so much for the feedback Eddy!! That's exactly what we're trying to do with our videos. It's easy to just walk around filming ourselves doing things, but that gets a bit boring to watch🤣 We're trying to give a bit more background on what makes these cities what they are, even if the history we give is just the tip of the iceberg. Thank you so much again for your support, we're so appreciative of you!!!!

Ahhhhh I'm so glad to hear this!! Tirana's so underrated & we absolutely loved it, even in the searing heat in August LOL. Enjoy the city & have a smoothie in our honor. @@ProbablyLost it’s cold and rainy now but all good. Didn’t stop me from going around. Went to Toptani mall for a good view of the mosque. Tirana Castle is right behind it. It’s really nice there. Will watch your other vlogs too.

Hi, thanks for the video. Did they ask you to show a return ticket or travel insurance at the airport when you enter? Thanks.
@ProbablyLost2 жыл бұрын
Hi CJ! So we took a bus into Albania from Montenegro. However when we arrived at border control we weren't asked anything about insurance or when we were leaving. I can't say for sure that they'll ask you those questions when arriving at the airport in Tirana, but I don't think you'll have to worry. Hopefully this helps you a bit, & thank you very much for taking the time to watch our vlog!!!

@albloves2 жыл бұрын
That exactly what I was thinking about. “Soviet era” 😂
@ProbablyLost2 жыл бұрын
Definitely a slip-up on our part!😅 I guess I just got a bit crossed up by the description of the bunkers being considered "soviet era", even thought Albania wasn't part of the Soviet Union. This is definitely a learning experience for me, but hopefully this video still inspires people who've not visited Tirana to add it to their bucket list. It's certainly an awesome city. Thank you for watching Albi!!
@JayandSarah Жыл бұрын
So one major mistake. This is NOT soviet era anything. It IS communist, but it is NOT soviet era... the soviets never ruled Albania. They may have been partners in trade like they were with China, but the fact it was communist makes it no more chinese than it does soviet, if you follow me. Americans wrongly confuse communism as being a russian thing. That would be like saying democracy is an American thing, which it is not. In fact, to add to that... America thinks it has a democracy, but in democratic ratings, it is rated as one of the poorest functioning democracies in the world. True facts.
@ProbablyLost Жыл бұрын
Hi!!! You're absolutely right. Believe it or not, we put SO much time into this video. But when we wrote the script to tell the story of Tirana, we had a complete misstep on this. It was honestly a massive learning moment for us because up until after we'd posted this, we really never understood the difference between Soviet rule & Communist rule, mostly because that chapter of history is REALLY kind of glossed over in US education. If there's one thing that's come from us getting this wrong, it's that we've definitely gotten that education from viewers who've been able to provide us with much clarity on it. All this to say, thank you for watching & providing that clarity. We really loved our time in Albania & can't wait to get back there to explore more of it!!!
@JayandSarah Жыл бұрын
@@ProbablyLost awesome! It's an easy mistake to make and my point is only for education not to be nit picky. You did a great job, your content is good and we will watch more. Education about Albania is non existent for sure in America, or for that matter - anywhere! We are from Canada, and love Albania. It is a very welcoming place for Americans, you would have probably noticed RRUGA GEORGE BUSH (GEorge bush road) and if you wanted up to Blokku, the huge USA Embassy that sits up by the stadium, it is massive. That history is traced back to NATO, and voila a new major NATO airbase in Albania. Take care and travel!
@johny59332 жыл бұрын
Is important if you are trying to tell your viewers the history about that country you may need to do some homework about the history..
@ProbablyLost2 жыл бұрын
Hi Johny! Thank you very much for taking the time to watch our vlog. With regard to your comments, we agree with you. It's 100% a mistake on my part. I should've said the Communist era rather than the Soviet era. I'll own that. We try our best to highlight the places we visit & the things that make them unique. While clearly this was an error on our part, we hope that we still showed some of the best Tirana has to offer because it's a truly awesome city with some of the best people we've come across. We put a great deal of work into the writing, structure, & editing of our videos so we'll take your feedback & make sure things are more polished on future vlogs. Thanks again for watching & providing some clarity!
