Are the batteries in the car Nimh (nickel metal hydride) or lithium ion?

@@ausjahyder Then corolla Cross will be great purchase in the market. Hence toyota didn't confirm the battery type on website and brochures. I have seen people reluctant to book it. As Nimh is an outdated technology toyota has heavily invested in. Thanks for confirming 👍🏻

According to my analysis I found out that it contains lithium ion battery. It could be a great purchase because of Toyota well known reliability factor. Being a Toyota you would always be sure that it would never break down
