I added Alberobello to my "bucket list" map as soon as I saw it in a video from The Endless Adventure. As Italy was the country I say I "caught my travel bug" I decided I wanted it to be my first solo trip country. I knew I didn't really want to go places I had already been so I planned my whole trip around this cute little town. These Trulli houses look like little fairy homes and I had never seen something like it in my travels. It faintly reminded me of the "fairy chimneys" in Turkey at first. Definitely not a town to spend a week. But I definitely recommended a night here if in Puglia, Italy. Though I would prefer Matera in Basilicata for a longer "homebase" stay. Alberobello is still definitely worth a visit, or a night.

Wow, this place looks amazing. Looks more like Greece than Italy. :)

It really was. The southern regions of Italy were heavily Greek. Most of the ruins down south are also Greek.
