This is Winchester Cathedral on a rare sunny day in June 2024. We have yet to experience proper summer weather for an extended period of time. It was lovely to see people seated on the grass, appreciating the scenery and enjoying the weather. If one is in this area, we have visited The William Walker Pub. It is a popular place and as a consequence, it is often difficult to get a seat if one wants food. Furthermore, Wolvesey Castle is in close proximity to Winchester Cathedral.
Winchester was the original and ancient capital of England. It is a Cathedral City in Hampshire. The Cathedral was built between 1079 and 1532.
I have further footage of Winchester Cathedral on my channel. Furthermore, I have filmed The Great Hall as well as The Hat Fair.
I also filmed The War Memorial.
**Do you think that it is respectful for people to climb on a War Memorial? This might seem like a silly question with an obvious answer, but I am almost certain that everyone who reads this has seen people do it. If you did observe people climbing on a War Memorial, would you intervene?**
