Rogers who doesn't need a QB coach as a bridge options are thin. Unless we get a new QB coach it won't matter who comes.

Funny thing about the Sanders thing also is that when the Raiders had the 1st pick Deion said to AP "Draft my boys" and the narrative was he wanted Shedeur to go to the Raiders. As soon as the Raiders won and fell back in the draft and the Giants had the 1st pick Shedeur plays catch with Nabers and wears a pair of Giants cleets. Sanders then wanted to be a Giant Now the Titans have the #1 pick and the Sanders camp responds to the Titans firing their GM. Deion more than anything wants Shedeur to be the 1st pick in the draft no matter who has that pick.

Russell Wilson or Justin Fields would be my picks, those 2 have played in the elements. At 3, I would either trade down add draft capital & pick Kenneth Grant. Grant is better than Mason Graham. Or pick Abdul Carter, Will Johnson, Starks, or Hunter at 3. But we really need depth, don’t force the qb draft pick. Cause remember, Schoen & Daboll are on the hot seat. A vet qb will have a higher chance of helping Daboll & Schoen keep their jobs than a rookie qb, which we would potentially repeating what the Bears did to Justin Fields.

Do not draft Sanders he has a noodle arm and no upside. Cam Ward has a cannon and has alot of upside. I also see a lot of the Patrick Mahomes like ability to improvise when plays break down. I would even prefer Milroe over Sanders. Milroe has multiple elite traits and tremendous upside to go with the strongest arm in the draft. Now if Sanders is drafted I wont like it but I will still root for him.

JJ is very young and so is likely to be able to fully recover and strengthen, it's worth the gamble and then can always take a QB in 2026 draft which might be a stronger class

Passing on McCarthy at 6 was simple McCarthy was the #4 QB while another huge weakness on this team was WR. Nabers was the #1 WR in the draft to pass on Nabers for the #4 QB made no sense. No WR in this draft is even close to Nabers ability. While Cam Ward and Sanders even by Mel Kipper would be close to the McCarthy/Penix level. So your choice was getting an much better WR with a QB that maybe slightly below the guy you could have had. Or you could get a slightly higher graded QB and then get a much lower grade WR. In that choice because of the dropoff in the WR class being greater than the dropoff between McCarthy Cam and Shedeur you take the WR 1st.

Why do you think Daball can make Fields a top QB? Sure he had success in college and with Bills but that's all he had to focus on. As head coach he is beyond his capacity to expand his brain. Not all QB and OC can be head coaches- see Josh McDaniels. Perhaps Giants can get JM as OC and QB coach and let Daball TRY to be Head Coach. Best thing about Fields (or a starter-quality vet) is the flexibility it gives you in the draft. If you don’t like the QBs or they go 1-2, you can take BPA. Also, if Browns or titans want to trade down, they don’t have the leverage on the giants that they need a quarterback.
