Mara, JS and Daboll (or any other GM/HC and owner) care little about the concerns of anyone outside their circle, much less the fan base. I grew up in Rutherford and spent many years in the late 60s and 70s rooting for this franchise when it was a disaster and seemed hopeless, eventually we were rewarded with greatness. To add to "paying extra" for players: what sucks is they already have to. The Giants may have the NY media machine that can help off-the-field financial possibilities, but as far as on-the-field $ the Giants are at a disadvantage - players have to pay more of their salary in taxes. The NFL has known this is unfair competition-wise and has done nothing. The math isn't that hard to figure out, and there's a few ways they could make salaries even despite tax differences.

I'm an Eagles fan but I've been following a lot of Giants content this year because of the Saquon situation. What you said about Saquon's contribution to the locker room is so true and something I've thought about all year. I think one of the key differences btw the Eagles/other great teams and Giants (right now) is how they treat their veteran players. Saquon isn't just a great RB but such a positive presence to have around your locker room. I just can't imagine a great team getting rid of a guy that vital to team culture. Until they build a great team identity, I believe the Giants will be walked all over time and time again. Where's the context though? For all we know this was said to McCloud's agent after the agent played hardball. Context matters. McCloud was terrible and couldn't make it as the #4 CB in possibly the worst CB room in the league. Does nobody remember how Saquon's old agent screwed up their deal? She was offered a more than fair amount for her client and she basically spat in their face repeatedly? What about the Love situation? People were pissed when he signed elsewhere, but when the dust settled, it turned out his agent read the market wrong and ended up getting his client less money than was offered by the Giants. Players are insignificant to some of these agents and they are more than willing to set the relationship between them and their team on fire if they think it can net them any extra $ in their own bank account

@@TheBully911 Read the Fitzpatrick interview. Flores was an emotionally abusive tyrant (in case the Tua interviewing wasn’t enlightening enough). Couldn’t ever make playoffs, couldn’t ever figure out offense (CO-offensive coordinators and a cooked Chan Gailey), and tried to pull a “him or me” situation with Stephen Ross to get Grier fired and himself made GM. Glad we’re keeping that Belichick failure the hell away from here.

Guys I’m for one is that fan that wrote the other day that I was becoming a free agent for another team fandom, I’m extremely disappointed with Mara and tisch for staying put with these two individuals who clearly are over their heads, God complex on both of them, I can give you a million of examples, but then it will be like writing a manifesto,like I wrote the other day, I’m 60 years old, been a fan for 43 years of my life, for the first time, I’m done, I gave up, they will messed up again on upcoming draft like they have messed up 3 years in a row, next season they be lucky if they win 3 games, I will be a loyal fan once next year passes and we have them 2 replace, dabool, scheion

There is a lot of talk about the way that Daboll and Schoen work with their players that seems to be pointing to the idea that they are not honest with their players. That they bullshit them rather than talk truth. They don't have the guts to tell a player what they need to hear - but are too weak to to deliver reality. I've seen this behavior with really bad high school coaches - where they talk out of both sides of their mouth. They tell the players what they want to hear, but then do not deliver on anything that they say. So many stories make it sound like they are acting like pussies face to face - but behind your back they screw you. It's a disgusting, pussy level of behavior. I think this is literally the worst thing that you can have as an organization. It's a disgrace.
