Exploring the Great Zimbabwe national monument

In South Eastern Zimbabwe lies a 15th-century royal compound known as Great Zimbabwe. It was the capital of a trading empire and home to at least 25,000 people. Today, Great Zimbabwe is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered a sort of national symbol for the modern-day country of Zimbabwe.
