啊？ 客家妹，我上星期也剛到梅州大埔。 我大馬人，爺爺12歲民國時期就到馬來西亞，隔了那麼那麼多年和三代。 我家人終於透過關係找到大埔的親戚。也完成祭祖。大埔的親戚也很熱情，實在很開心（尤其我父親）。 ：D

So nice to find this video. Dabu is where my family is originated. i visited our ancestral house 7 years ago along with my parents and met old relatives. Great feast and hard liquor, too.

very interesting. We visited dabu some years back, we stayed at the RuiJin hotel then relatives drove us to our 老家 village everyday. I remember my grandfather used to say when he first left the village to come to singapore for work, back in the old days there were no roads or highways like you see there today in the old days people had to hike maybe days to get to a major river then take a riverboat to get to a major town. He said in the old days it was dangerous to travel as there were wolves in the forest but when I visited I didn't see any, I think all the wolves have been eaten up long time ago. 😋

Watching your video brought back some memories for me....I went back to my father's village in San Zhou (near to Lee Kuan Yew's village). I should plan for another trip in the near future.

My grandfather also from Tai Po, but I didn’t know much about my ancestor, I still have my grandfather name written in Chinese character, that’s all I have 😢😢😢. I only know about the foods, abascus seed and nepan, made from potato, my dad said, that are the foods from Tai Po. I really want to know about my ancestor, but don’t know how where to start to find 😂😂😂. Greetings from Jakarta Indonesia.
