Day 5 In The Himalayas: Trekking Back To The Trailhead

Due to rain and some flooding, we were unable to pass Balu Ka Ghera and had to make the difficult decision to return to Jwara and ultimately head back to the trailhead. The Hampta Pass is a 14,000-foot Himalayan marvel offering a stunning contrast. On one side, you'll find the lush Kullu Valley with its vibrant green meadows and blooming flowers. On the other, the stark Lahaul landscape unfolds with barren mountains and arid terrain. Crossing the pass is an exhilarating adventure, taking you through a 25-kilometer trek over six days. Experience the thrill of climbing over ledges as you approach the summit, rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views. It's a journey through two different worlds.
