Sometime to swerve the big attractions and see some of the things other tourists completely miss out on and a nice bit of history with the Gordon House. Nice hike too with the wildflowers out, especially with the promise of a waterfall to come, cheers Alan

100%! I think if more people came across little places like this they would stop. Great way to spend 15-30 mins and stretch. We really liked the little stop indeed!

Looks like such a beautiful place! I love seeing beautiful historic homes, you do a great job narrating the history! What a lovely walk through the wildflowers.

Thank you! Yes, historic homes are indeed very interesting. I find it impressive that they can remain so long providing they are getting the proper care.

This is a great little stop. Perfect to get out of the car for 15-30 minutes and stretch the legs. The good thing about the Natchez Trace is that you can break up the route by making a handful of these neat stops, learn about the area, and then continue on.

Thanks for giving us a brief history of the area. It's so lush and green there!

I love when you get to a space and you feel overwhelmed by green. I've always felt like the TN / NC area does that for me. So beautiful.

Gordon House is so historic. They don’t build buildings like this - brick for brick. This trail are more level than the ones you went to in Japan. That is a good time to go for sure.
