14:25 This is an old mechanic and glitch in some old version of minecraft. Basically, whenever you sleep in minecraft, there are chances that undead mob will spawn right next to you, which make you can't sleep for most of the time

It was the first attempt at balancing the bed's ability to skip the night, if there were any blocks that were dark surrounding it, it'd spawn a mob. Unfortunately the light detection was weird and it counted solid blocks as complete darkness and you basically had to surround it with torches. They changed it pretty quick to be the modern 'if there are any mobs nearby you can't sleep' system.

Minecraft saved me. Sounds weird, I know, but around the period I started to play (which I now realize was 1.8, holy shizzlesticks) I also got bullied a ton and I always feared leaving my house because of those bullies. Minecraft connected me with people and brought me friends, which is probably the maid reason I'm still walking the earth as a living human being. watching this video was so weird to me. i was born in 08 and i have two older brothers, both obsessed with minecraft since it came out. what is weird to me is i remember things like when minecraft added boats and they were so fragile. the weird thing is that i would be around the age of 2-3 during these updates? i am not sure if that is normal, but my brothers and dad would always be playing minecraft and i would watch and join in too sometimes. just never knew i was that young. i do often get nostalgic thinking about old minecraft...... never realized my memories were from that age?????

I was born in 2005 and, when Minecraft came out in 2009, I obviously had no idea. But I first came into contact with Minecraft 1.9 and then stopped playing. I don't know why. I started to play a Minecraft ripoff that I really liked. I remember installing it July 4th. But I started playing again in update 1.13, the Aquatic Update. I have been in love with the game ever since. 1.16, the Nether Update, was when I started to like it less. I was crying because I didn't want Pigmen gone from the game. I have accepted it now though. I haven't played Minecraft 1.21 because I just...didn't like it that much. So, yeah...I don't play Minecraft that much as I used to.
