I am old and I have a old cousin who came for a visit . People my age (40) really do not know anything about KZbin besides music videos. I love that all week during her visit I got to show her your videos and all my favorite KZbinrs. She had no idea people film things like this. THANKS I looked so cool and young and hip showing her all your cool travel videos!!!

For your information for all of you looking to visiting Japan, Ryokans often show prices per person, not by a room, and this is because most of the time the price comes with breakfast, dinner and unlimited bathing in the onsen.
@EnigmaDave6 жыл бұрын
It's nice they provide the outdoor bathing area as well as the onsen. The river seemed like SO MUCH FUN!

This video reminds me of my vacation in May 2017, when I visited Kochi and Tokushima Prefectures for about 3 weeks. My host in the city of Kochi offered some great hospitality. Motoyama is a relaxing town. I especially enjoyed staying with a kind host in Motoyama, and hanging out at the Missy Sippy Cafe. The Sunday market in Kochi has a festive atmosphere, and there's some great food at the market. I also went on a side trip to Sakawa. In Otoyo, I met a generous man who invited me to his home in the countryside. Overall, I enjoyed the laid back feel of Kochi Prefecture and the beautiful scenery.

Thank you very much for sharing some ideas to see Kochi. I was given a project by TripAdvisor and Kochi Tourism Marketing Agency to look into experiences and things to see/do in the area to produce a video guide and your video has helped me get an understanding of what to look out for in the based on their itinerary. It is good to see content creators still flourishing even during this tough period so I hope you and your loved ones remain safe! Keep creating!

Hi Sharla, I am loving your travel videos!! Very inspiring. Actually, my husband and I want to visit Iwate this November for the 3-day weekend thanks to your great review of the area. Do you have any ryokan recommendation? We'd like to get into the mountain/countryside a bit but don't have a car, so we're having a hard time deciding on a place to stay. Thank you

I like the new text graphics you included... not sure if they have always been there, but just noticed them now. I enjoy finding out what places you go next in Japan... not to throw shade on Korea, because I enjoy them too. I only have room for trying ro visit one country at a time, so no plans for trying Korea yet. Still trying to learn Japanese... lol I'm older, so if it is not art or music I do not learn as fast. Japanese writing is like art to me, so I am pocking that up fast... grammer... not so much, but trying my best. 2 FUN FACTS: Only two rivers in the northern hemosphere flow away from the equator. The Nile River (Eygpt of course), and The St. Johns River in Florida. I swam in the St Johns, but fun fact #2 is in Florida there is a rule... If there is water (lake, river, or even a pool in some cases) there are most likely gators, and must be treated as such. But I stll like to wake board in them. :D Never forget the last one... could save your life. I have jetskiied to remote parts of the St. Johns, and while on the jetski sitting with engines off... have been surrounded by gators poking their heads in and out of the water. No danger... but there were atleast 10, and they had to bet at least 7 to 12 feet long. It was exciting.

Loving the video so far! Stumbled upon your channel thanks to Abroad In Japan. Before I forget, what is the name of the song that kicks off at the very beginning of your video??? It reminds me of Persona 5 and I love it lol. Also, did you get to make it to Itsukushima yet? That was one of my favorite places when I visited, though sadly the tide was in so we couldn't make it all the way to the gate. Still beautiful though.
