wow i'm older than both of you came out young and have not experienced what y'all are describing. I move to SF at age 22 it was not so rigid. You should be who ever you want to be. Also don't forget butch in the streets femme in the sheets. Also Also, some folks may not present masc but feel masc inside.

There are different types of mascs and the Black community seems to see stud style as the only masc style that is acceptable. Outside of specific stud style, Kita could be softer masc…but she needs more confidence and needs to put some bass in that voice around studs to be taken seriously. 😅
