Join my dog Brutus and I as we take you on a walk along the Mojave Riverwalk, one of the best outdoor spots in the High Desert of Southern California! This scenic trail stretches along both the Victorville and Apple Valley sides, running all the way to Mojave Narrows Regional Park. Perfect for walking, biking, roller skating, or taking your dog on an adventure, this path offers stunning desert views and a rich history dating back to Native American trade routes and the Old Spanish Trail.
📍 Trail Highlights:
✅ Walk, run, bike, or roller skate!
✅ Dog-friendly with plenty of open space 🐶
✅ North Side: Park near Victor Valley College, head toward Mojave Narrows
✅ South Side: Park behind Best Buy & 24 Hour Fitness, runs past Jess Ranch & Del Webb communities
✅ Limited shade on the south side-bring water! 💦
✅ Passes by Ashwood Golf Course & Jess Ranch Marketplace
The Mojave River is a unique waterway that flows mostly underground for over 110 miles, starting in the San Bernardino Mountains and ending at Soda Lake. Historically, it was a vital resource for early settlers, pioneers, and even cattle ranchers during the 19th-century drought.
