And that is one of the many reasons I have visited locations like this over the many years in Southeast Asia. Very surreal even with all the traffic there is a sense of peace. What I call beautiful chaos. Although often the only foreigner around for miles I never felt in danger with the locals. If anything I often feel comforted to be around them. The best Thai food is in the market area of Phitsanulok and there is also a night market at the same location. Have been visiting there for many years.
