Exploring the North Saskatchewan River

We truly enjoy all the outdoor family adventures we have together. The age the kids are all at right now is so much fun for this. Last night we went out on the river one more time to soak up the views of fall! 🍁Although the night didn’t go quiet as planned so many memories were made! ❤️
(We planned to have steak dinner over the fire on an island but our flint broke and despite Kev and I trying to make a fire with a broken flint, we couldn’t! 😢 So we paddled home in the dark with our uncooked supper and hungry tummies. The kids had cookies and marshmallows for supper in the canoe)
Sometimes the trips that don’t go quite right can be the most memorable.
