My head unit is an Android player with optical toslink out. Do you recommend to connect the head unit and dsp amp (AF M8.14 has optical in) with optical cable?

@iamfak Yes. Using the digital Toslink optical signal connection will provide the best quality audio signal, in addition to eliminating the chance of inducted noise from your vehicle that could otherwise be picked up by analog RCA interconnect cables. If your Android head unit does not provide variable volume control via its digital Toslink optical connection, you will need to use the optional Audison DRC-AC remote as your master volume control. The only circumstance where you might want to use the analog RCA interconnects from your Android head unit to the Audison DSP-Amplifier, is if you want to maintain the Front/Rear FADER controls for the speakers in your system via your Android head unit's Fader control.
