Fun fact: You can climb up onto the wall that runs along the side of the town, behind the church and Hammond's house, and if you squat as you walk along it, you'll eventually fall through a hidden portal into a secret level. This level is essentially a test site with a raptor, every weapon in the game and lots of random stuff, such as a set of giant dominoes you can topple and some severed heads you can throw. It's so trippy! - Trespasser nerd since 2001

I'm not sure, but I don't think you have to climb the wall. If you turn on the BONES cheat and follow/hug the wall, you will eventually find an area where the wall is not tangible. Walk through it to activate the trigger and load the TestScene. I think this is how I've done it in the past :) But yeah, trippy place, even by Trespasser standards :P

The music right when you entered the village it sounded like the music from JP3 when the group entered the Ingen lab where amanda was almost attacked by the raptor.

Just a few raptors today. Keeping the updates guys LOL :D

It is when he encounters the raptors, he almost never stays in the same place and the raptors stay in the same area unless they see him and most of them are killed by him anyway, so yeah, this is exactly the amount of dinosaurs he has encountered so far.

Fun fact about this game I learned. Raptors were supposed to go into buildings and spawn in them but in this unfinished state the raptors would glitch out and get stuck so they removed that feature

Actually, what they did was only placing some invisible boxes inside the buildings with a "dinosaurs not allowed in here" script in order to prevent them from entering. And they did it because the dinosaurs' physics interacting with indoors physics (walls, doors, furniture, etc.) at the same time would stretch the engine's capabilities to the limit and make it crash sometimes...

Yeah, I've been hoping for a canonized version of Trespasser with update graphics, AI, physics, using true film canon lore too - locations, Sorna map, etc. And also have more animals roaming about too (young & adults alike) from the official list. And maybe include a few nods to JPIII, perhaps with encounters with juvenile forms of the illegally cloned species running around too?

I think I actually like Trespasser's version of the Worker Village better than the canon version. It just feels more like an actual village that could accommodate a large number of workers.

Actually the original worker village woupd have 13 buildings but they only finished 4 because they prefer the climax in san diego than in isla sorna

This is definitely a highlight of Trespasser! The exploration, music, and overall atmosphere of the Site B village is great! I honestly don't care if it doesn't entirely fit in the established canon, it's still really cool to explore and imagine what a everyday life was like for the staff here all those years ago. The key card idea was also pretty smart! Adds a nice task to complete rather then just letting the player waltz around or through the town. It's really great! I'd LOVE for a spiritual successor to Trespasser Jurassic Park game to revisit this!

Hey Klayton, just a tip about entering in the numbers on keypads in Trespasser, once you get Anne's hand into the keypad pointing position (with one finger sticking out) you can actually click the right mouse button and Anne will jab her arm forward for the key press. Btw, I am working on a cryengine 2 re-make of Trespasser, like you I love the buck rex from The Lost World and generally the lore of Isla Sorna, just felt like sharing this interest ha! There's actually a side way into the town without entering any numbers. I didn't even remember how to enter the code because I've always used that weird side tube to the far left to enter into the town. Don't worry though, the keypads will return, and there's at least one later one where you have no choice. BTW, you also could have gotten into Wu's by stacking boxes. Maybe Hammond's too.

There was a miniature of the town built for the movie and it was probably three times larger then what actually made it into the movie; and the town in the game more closely resembles the miniature. And I think the Lost World board game was also based on the miniature. There are some great pictures out there of Spielberg looking over the large miniature town. And like others have said you missed that you can tap with you finger on the keypads, the gas station Malcom runs from raptor in, and the building the ladies get trapped by the raptors in. But you found the graffiti that is actually a code to enter into the map/panel/gate unlock button for an easter egg. Thanks for all the great videos!

I'm having a lot of fun watching the Trespasser series! I wonder if a game like this would work again in future, like a RDR2 style sandbox with environmental backstories for each dinosaur you meet and random encounters with other people (maybe like the mercenaries or illegal tourists) on the island too while you try to find your way off! Just a world full of references and curiosities that you can explore in freeroam or focus on the main story of getting off the island. If it took place after the 2015 incident even better, because there would likely be InGen forces running around the islands but still enough chaos for you to explore the wild and untamed nature! Obviously this is just a lil pipe dream of mine haha, I would love a game like that T_T love your channel so much! It's my first stop for jurassic park vids!

The Gate Control Computer also has an easter egg, I believe. By inputting the code below the sink in the bathroom (yeah, that's a code), you will see a diagram of the 'Cube of Depression' with stuff like 'traffic' and 'mean people' written on the 4 top vertices, and stuff like 'sunshine', 'cute puppies' and 'sno cones' at the bottom 4 vertices. These vertices are also part of the 'Pyramid of Happiness' diagram, fused with the cube, with its top vertice being situated at the center of the cube, reading 'Trespasser'. Someone was not very happy during the game's development...

when i played trespasser i remember the controls for pointing and pushing buttons was to hold Right click to bring up the hand and left click to move the hand forward as if to reach or push. Its been a while so i don't know the control layout but i hope that helps you figure things out so you don't have to move your whole body when trying to push buttons.

It's been a long time since I played the game, but if I recall, when you aim your arm at the keypads and Anne points her finger, you click with the mouse to get her to poke her finger forward to tap at the keys. Keeps from having to fully move back and forth and have her arm bob and miss the key.

The secret to using the keypads in Trespasser is standing a certain distance from the pad, wait for the hand to change. Make sure that you can drag your hand around the screen and not press any key by accident. Then position your finger over the desired key, and press space. Anne will extend her arm forward and press the key if you are at the proper distance. One more of the hidden, undocumented gameplay elements that frustrate people unaware to no end.

The Trespasser lore is more in line with the novels. One thing I learned from reading The Lost World again last year is that there were holding pens on Site B. But when the dinosaurs started getting sick they released them.

I don't know how I feel about any of this... Because something about Nedry - or even Muldoon - being on Site B just irks me the wrong way. It makes me wonder if had Dodgson pressed Nedry further about getting "examples" of InGen's "assets", Nedry might've mentioned the existence of Site B. Then of course, Dodgson seemed to know about it during the events of Lost World...And who knows, maybe Nedry kept it as an ace up his sleeve or maybe didn't think it was worth the potential risk. And for some reason, I don't think Muldoon would willingly be on Sorna... ...Also...I know John is "Spare no Expense" but I don't think he'd actually allot resources to allow Henry a swimming pool.

There's a Hammond voiceover near the bungalows behind the saloon. Not sure if Klayton activated it in this video, so here it is: "The biotechnicians were compensated for living in exile. High pay, luxury housing. Dennis wanted computer time, and money; Henry wanted his state of the art entertainments. These were the elite, who could have gone anywhere to work. I had to keep them here." Though not 'state of the art', in Trespasser canon, Hammond would probably have gotten Wu a bigger pool if he wanted one :)

The Burroughs or Ingen Town actually is a different place, it isn't the Workers Village, Burroughs was a little bit north from the Village, that's why it is so different

Odd coincidence, but rather funny. Ann is voiced by the same actress that voices Jane from the Disney adaptation of Tarzan in 1999, two years after this game came out, yet in the center of the town is a statue of Edgar Rice Burroughs who wrote the original Tarzan. Fate made an odd circle outta this didn't it?
