I love how Ambrose was able to horrify a vampire from not knowing what he was, and it almost humanizes the vampire. My two cents though? Ambrose is probably a thaumaturgist or some kind of reality bender, rather than an actual bloodsucker.

I love these quirky tongue-in-cheek SCPs. Instead of grand and spectacular, reality threatening scenario's, you get the everyday life stuff. Like a vampire who just pines for a nice view. Anomalous restaurants and hotels, anomalous tailors, cleaners, dentists etc. I mean even an eldritch abomination needs a yearly check-up and a reminder to floss.

15:00 this immediately caught my attention Sebastian LaCroix is a prominent character in the game Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines. there isn't much in his review on the resturaunt that i immediatley notice connects to the game, but i did notice the line "We are notorious for our squabbling" which greatly describes the relationships between Vampires and Other Vampires in the game's story. they've all got some kind of major beef with each other, every single one.

There's actually a lot of real world blood recipes that the writer for ambrose could have included like pigs blood tofu stew or Italian blood pasta. Hell even braised cows liver or placenta is a good item for the list.

@@whiskeyhound It's shown in the story that LaCroix relishes experiences from when he was alive, so why not include some normal foods that are palatable to haemavores on the menu, for those who want them as a reminder of the 'better days'? Who said they can only eat special vampire food? Yes, if they just fancied Italian blood pasta one night they wouldn't bother going all the way to the Transylvania venue for it, but they don't go there for a quick snack, they go for the whole experience. The food is an add-on, so to speak. Like, you don't go to a club for the bar snacks, but you might have some while you're there. So it makes sense they'd offer as wide a variety as possible since the actual nutritious options for a vampire are, as stated, quite limited.

Plus the whole appeal of this hotel as far as food goes is providing access to exotic bloods that the vampires couldn't ever get access to normally, such as faerie or elagardian blood.

I'm just supporting the OP's idea of additional recipes that use blood, not replacing anything. But to address some of your points; it's clearly stated that eating regular food isn't a pleasant experience for a vampire. Thus they couldn't eat the exact human foods for nostalgia's sake, it would have to be 'close enough'. Which would be fine as you don't have to be in an exact replica of a situation to experience nostalgia. That's something you either comprehend or don't, I guess. And you just undermined your own argument in one sentence when you said "as far as the food goes"; because, AS I STATED, vampires aren't likely to go there just for the food alone. Do you pick a holiday destination primarily because of the food? I certainly don't. It may be a factor, but so are all the other relevant elements like location, cost, comfort, atmosphere...
