For those who are curious, the "Hello" scare happens both here and on the SCP page. If you keep the page open, eventually an audio will play of someone whispering "Hello" in the right earphone/speaker. It's one of the few meta-scares out there. It's a clever and marrow chilling effect on both mangg' and DJKaktus' part. One for which I have boundless hatred, but also infinite respect. Edit: 8-10-2020; Because it has been asked for, the timestamp for the "Hello" scare is roughly 5:05 . I hope that helps and people can enjoy the work without getting too spooked.

Then she attempted suicide in the pool. And then other 9 girls that blamed her burned alive in that house caused by 10th dead girl. Caused by scp(ghost girl). So tht scp is a bullied ghost and those 9 other girls that bullied her.

My interpretation is it's mostly metaphor: a cheerleader gets pregnant and either miscarries or aborts it, and the town shuns her. The other cheerleaders hate that she ruined their image and kill her, perhaps by burning her house down, and the town pretends she just ran away. They ignore the horrible acts because they're "good girls," they could never do something like that. The guilt (or maybe even her ghost) drives the father to drown himself in the pool, but still nobody cares because he was bad too, even though he was crying out for help. Eventually the guilt (or ghost) gets to the other cheerleaders and they hang themselves, and the town finally notices. They lie to themselves about the facts but they acknowledge _something_ tragic happened, just like how the principal refused to close the school until they saw the 9 girls. The students still go to school because they've been experiencing this tragedy all along with nobody listening, it's normal for them, a spiraling nightmare of a school. This awful town in denial led to the deaths of so many kids because they refused to actually do anything to help. _That's_ the thing this quiet madness made.

I personally add on the theory that the pregnant girl’s baby was a reality bender, hence why it seems to have died twice, and that after the abortion it bent reality so that it lived, but after the drowning it wasn’t powerful enough to bend reality safely a second time so local reality just sorta broke, resulting in all these glitch-like anomalies. To everyone complaining about the use of ‘non-Euclidean’, yes, we get it’s not the correct term. But sci-fi/horror/Lovecraftian culture has long adopted the term to mean ‘nonsensical and distorted reality’. It’s just one of those words that has different meaning depending on how and where you use it. Like how a tomato is technically a fruit, but in terms of culinary, it’s still a vegetable. One thing can change its definition slightly to suit the needs of the medium.

Except it's not though, Non-Euclidean geometry is a rigidly defined concept that isn't just used to describe "weirdness". Just because the writer doesn't understand what it actually means, (Yes, H.P. That's because the sites quality filter has long since been removed. The newer entries often lack quality and suffer self inserts. The newer edits oftentimes ruin or make already existing SCPs lean on the ridiculous side. If you are a fan of the SCP wiki I'd strongly recommend the Wayback machine for viewing the site until new moderators commit to course correction. On the point of "Non-Euclidian" Geometry. I would like to point out that yes, it is not being used correctly in this case, and has not been used successfully in the works of HP Lovecraft. That much is not in debate. Mathematically, it's nonsense and doesn't make sense. However, I would like to point out that while it is not Mathematically correct, we do know what the author intends to relay by using it. I hesitate to say they've "Changed the definition." So instead what I will say, is that the connotation of using "Non-Euclidian" in this context is more important than the denotation of what it means. It's not the correct definition, but using it in this context relays an associated meaning with it that serves a function in the story. That is to say, we know it's not Non-Euclidian, but we understand that the word is being used to describe something else. TLDR: I know Non-Euclidian doesn't mean what the writer and Lovecraft were saying it did in this context, but no one cares, we know what they're trying to get us to visualize.

My headcanon of the events (funny thing, I translated this SCP for the spanish site so I spent a lot of time reading it and thinking about it) is that given the time it happened and the fact it was a very small town, that the girl who got pregnant didn't actually abort the baby, instead she did have it, but not in an hospital, I think she had it in the hidden room of the school and that right afterwards she drowned the newborn in the pool and the buried somewhere near the grove or maybe the mysterious dilapidated (which fits with the visions the students saw), and that this is why she was very insterested in the room at first, she was looking for a place to get rid of her "problem", and why the whole thing seeminly started in the school below the ground and then in the pool slowly extending over the town. I think that by the time the teacher mentions the girl hearing the knocking and the weird stuff, the girl had already done the deed and was obviously guilt-ridden about it and maybe regret, I think the kid now turned into an SCP may have conviced her that they could be together again and that's why she committed suicide, probably near where she buried the baby and the strange note might have been stuff she was hearing the more she was haunted by what she had done toppled with the town being angry at her. I think after the she died, this was also brushed off, perhaps they attempted to cover it up with the story of them running away, with only the town authorities and the teachers being in the known, Mrs. Fletcher going back and forth could be alluding not just to her faulty memory, but to how the cover story for the girl's death coming apart and difficulty at keeping track of all the lies to cover it up. Then shortly after the rest the of cheerleader team dissapeared, while I'm tempted to say they also hanged themselves - probably the SCP haunting them too, this time with the mother in tow with the baby - the constant mentions of water, wetting sounds of asphixiation makes me think that they may have drowned themselves (or maybe someone or something did it ) maybe in the pool too but I also think the pond where their bodies appeared to the Fundation agents, they mentioned "distended" features and this often happens to bodies of drowned people, why I think they were drawned instead of hanged when the more often appear hanged than drowned? Well because 'punishment' is a theme in the article, they were very likely part of the shaming the tenth girl because of her pregnancy if not the leading part at least in the school, they may have even exposed her to the town so they were the first victims, and their own punishment was dying the same way the mother drowned the baby and then now as part of the SCP they re-enact the death of the mother to the whole school and town and take people to the baby and the mother (the "tenth is the madness" and the phrase "The lost ones condmenned to wander") to be with them forever (like the exploration log shows), at last an overlooked detail is that all the Salvation's inhabitants are unable to reproduce, that's their punishment too, they may have espcaped their fate to become part of the SCP (I believe this was the end goal) but since they spurned and shamed a girl into murder and then suicide, then they don't get too have their own babies either. The one thing I can't have an explanation for is the student that was apparently part of Syncope in the school during the week the anomalies took place, but the author of this (djkaktus) has said that the conection of this SCP to the class of the 76 and syncompe symphony is loose and mostly sharing the common theme of nostalgia except that while they look the past through rose-tinted glasses, in this one is looking at it through nightmate lenses, in any case my best guess is that the Syncope Symphony was surveying the town of Salvation and see if they could be of use to their goals, but that they discarded it precisely because it was opposite to their views of the past.

There's no actual anomaly. It was revealed that by the end of their rotation, (and only the D-class are allowed to read this) it was just instructions written by the first D-class assigned to this SCP about pretending to forget stuff so that they'd be taken care of instead of getting sent to other SCP's

This one sounds oddly like a Fae interacting with town. Fae known for pranks that make no sense to humans, The lack of names, again, a common Fairy trait.
