Great view from that peak you found. I would have been scared hiking alone in such a remote area. Not even the campground you stayed at appeared to have bear lockers.

I've been waiting for this video to drop! I was in Horse Meadow Campground the week after you were there. Talking to the CG Host Wayne, he starts telling me about this guy in an Outback like mine that documents all his trips. He said he has an e-bike. I tell him I know that guy - SubieTrails. Love the videos, keep it up.

Yeah he is, i'm sure he told you he's been the Host at Horse Meadows for 24 yrs! I saw that trail you went down at 13:00. I wanted to go down it and camp there but I thought it looked too bad. You went down it no problem, I gotta start trusting the Outback more. Thanks for your videos, they help a lot on seeing what the Outback's capable of doing with getting too crazy. Next month I'm going to Kaibab, my friend has done it but I wasn't sure where to go until your video.@@subietrails2750

Haha Yeah trust the Subaru man, they are pretty capable. the biggest thing to worry about is getting high centered on a rock or bogging down in deep sand or mud. when you're going down hill or up the good thing is if you get stuck you have gravity helping you get out, getting struck on flat ground is actually worse. The North Rim is a really cool place to check out. The place closes down after October 16 so you better be quick. One early snow storm and they close the gates to get in.

Trying to get in right before it closes. I have the week of the Oct 9th off but told my boss I may need to move it up a week. What were the night temperatures when you were there?@@subietrails2750

I actually just discovered this campground due to this video. It seems really nice. Did you camp in a tent if you don't mind me asking? They don't seem to have bear lockers and it's really remote, so I'm not sure how comfortable I would feel staying in a tent.
