Exploring the Ship at Night - Carnival Vista Cruise Vlog

Ahhh... I love the sight of a cruise ship a night! The glow of the lights on deck and of course the amazing sunsets! We are out after dinner and exploring our new ship. We take Jax and check him in at Camp Ocean and then head upstairs to The Clubhouse. This is the first of its kind in that it is an indoor game are next to the Sports Square. It’s most unique feature is a giant billiards table played with soccer balls. Pretty cool! We also wander to the spa & gym areas and IMAX / Thrill Theater and Warehouse arcade areas. It’s a great first night on the Vista!!

I totally agree with the liquid lounge. I don't like the chairs. I loved the old style design with the benches and small tables. I totally loved the man that was dancing. That was AWESOME! It totally shows that carnival is not just a booze cruise and for kids. Those big round daybed things are incredible! I really like all the chairs/daybeds and couches throughout carnival.

We love to walk around the ship at night as well. There is something about all the lights and quiet spots where you can sit and hear the ocean... Nothing like it! Someday I would like to try the Vista..maybe after it's fixed lol. Watching the guy dancing is what I love best. It's great to watch people enjoying life! You guys explain why we all cruise perfectly out on the lounger. Thanks for sharing your video!

Nice! Listening to the waves in a few minutes with eyes closed is like a reboot! Hubby and look for spots too where its not to crowded and we can do a total relax. The music on the ship was really good! I was surprised when you show that gentleman dancing that it was a live band. That's awesome! Thanks for sharing!

Another great video! We will be doing the soccer billiard thing next time. We either never had the right shoes on or it was busy in February. Plus we took alot of naps or fell asleep early lol. We knew about the weird lounge seating beforehand. Alchemy was our favorite nighttime hangout when we could get a seat right at the bar. We had mimosas on our last day at the Atrium bar. It was 99% champagne and 1% juice lol. The bartender said to let her know if we needed more juice. She saw our surprised face when she was making the drinks. We want to hangout more outside at night too. Loved the meatball sandwich. It was the only time we went to the deli and had the new cakes.

I was on the Vista cruise that was planning to go out out on July 6, BUT IT GOT CANCELLED ON THURSDAY 😭 we had a whole group of about 20 people. BUT luckily we took the last rooms on the carnival valor cruise that’s leaving July 15! 👏🏾that day was a roller coaster of emotions lol. But thankfully we got a free cruise plus the money back from the Vista. 😊

I am with you guys on the theater setting. I still have not got use to the new layout of the theater. I have been on several Carnival ships with this layout and I still do not like it. The funny thing is that I haven't meant one person who likes it including the cast performers yet Carnival thinks this is a good idea. They say it is because they can do better productions. Love your vids. Booked on the Vista July 20th. Heard there is an engine issue affecting the route. Y’all having issues that would make you consider canceling and book another boat? We are super excited to be on the Vista but have another option w/ Norwegian and insurance. Should we take the insurance hit and wait for the Vista to be fixed?

Thank you! We sailed on the Vista in April so are not currently experiencing these issues. I do believe everything will be back in working order by your cruise but that is a decision you will have to make. If the ship is back and running probably I don’t think the insurance would cover you not going....

Your Breakaway segments and specialty dining review influenced me to book a cruise for our family reunion and my sister in law's 60th birthday at the end of October 2019.
