Exploring the Tombs in the Archeological Site of Tierradentro, Colombia

Tierradentro is an archeological site in the department of Cauca in the Andean region of Colombia. It is a UNESCO world heritage site. The site consists of 100s of tombs or hypogea, decorated with geometric and anthropomorphic motifs. These tombs are spread across 4 sites, with 2 additional sites in the area. It is possible to hike between all of the sites with a nice loop. The hike is absolutely stunning. This was probably my favorite place in Colombia.
