It is beautiful there! Just how you would imagine an English village to look! Thanks for trying the church door- we always visited the local church wherever we visited when I was a child( & still do!) Dad would bring us this way possibly because we had relatives in Borough Green.

I went to Chiddingstone in May - it’s a lovely place. Thank you for showing the interior of the church - unfortunately, it was being used for a wedding practice when I was there! There’s a lovely cafe through the arch on the Main Street. (It’s the river Eden.)

Interesting that you mentioned not being a member of the NT anymore. I had a long break from membership and just joined again last year. I visit Petworth frequently as it’s the nearest to my home. Gravity playing up such an interesting idea 🤔Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
