I too want the legitimate material to have its day, but that means sweeping the other stuff out of the way... sometimes it gives the appearance that I am the bad guy, but that comes with the territory, and I'm good with that. When the real stuff comes along I want to be there saying "LOOK!" And it being useful to everyone, not just hype. I believe this is a real phenomena. Tonight we get to see a lot of it! I am very excited for this!

I think you're right; it looked like it just brushed past the branches, but my cameras can't capture details that close to the ground. The most challenging part of what I do is measuring distance accurately. The only time I can be truly precise is when I see them come over the mountain because I know exactly how far it is to the crest. If they're on the other side, they must be at least that far away. Sometimes, I get close-up views-close enough to feel like they went out of their way. But 99% of the time, they're just on the edges of the city. Happy New Year to you, Ellene. Keep your eyes on the horizon, and never stop exploring. There's always something amazing waiting to be discovered.

(Wondering if you could advise a decent basic night vison binocular that will pick up stuff, not too expensive, off of ebay, there's loads of them on there various types but do I need thermal or infra red or?? Sorry, just know nothing about the equipment, just wondering if theres cheeper versions that will pick things up?)

Hello FlyByOrb, welcome to my channel! Wishing you all the best in the coming year. Unfortunately, I can't provide any information on eBay equipment. Fortunately, I've been using high-end night vision devices from the start and continue to upgrade them. I know not everyone can afford to spend $1000, but there are likely others who can offer better advice. I've exclusively used Luna Optics devices and haven't needed to switch, as you can see from my videos. Best of luck, and I hope to keep seeing you around. I'd love to see your videos and would be happy to post a link to them here if you do.

I think Ill experiment and see what happens, if I get some sort of device that can take footage, record etc & picks anything up then of course will be sure to let you know. I got excited driving around tonight for New Year’s Eve seeing very low flying what I thought might be drones. I went online to the news and apparently they are flying helicopters very low and trying to trace radiation apparently. I’m sure that your camera is probably are gonna pick them up for sure.

Yeah, it's really interesting to hear about them flying low to detect radiation. It's unfortunate that we have to worry about such things. I've got both of my night vision binoculars running, aimed at the Las Vegas mountains, just between Aliante and the veterans hospital. That's usually where I focus. Thanks Roxannie! 🙏
