If Nyx is completely unfamiliar with Neopia, I wonder if she’s from a different planet? Getting a new, inhabited planet to explore would be amazing! She could also maybe be from a different time where the lands like Brightvale don’t exist anymore or don’t exist YET. Could also be an alternate universe thing, maybe. In any case, I don’t think Nyx (or the void creatures) are from the Neopia we know.

I'm sure plenty of folks have pointed this out, and I'm sure its not malicious or anything, but the uncanny resemblance between the Void stuff and the Dark Matter Subeta color is amusing. I haven't had much to do with Neopets for decades because it because of the mess it had become and I don't abide that, but this actually looks... like care was put into it. All the new assets and art alone is a real good sign. IDK if I can handle the click intensity of it right now because health stuff as a regular player, but I may sign up again
