Didn't know there are so many cemeteries dedicated to the war dead. Thankyou chaps for this latest vlog

@@shelaghbooth332 around 23,000 around the world but we’ve only visited a few. It’s something you have to see to realise how many lives lost 💙

Do you recall the cemetery in Morocco we visited? It had allied pilots in it among others obviously. Must have been a Commonwealth War Graves section though I don’t recall?

@@yorkshiresfinestpair it was a very long trip and a memorable one. Will probably go back in a few years time since I’ve found loads of relatives buried or commemorated here Thanks for watching guys, we appreciate your support Karen and James 🥰🥰

We’re loving watching the videos back as we were there in September! Forgotten some of the details! When were you in The Forest Of Galloway? We were there in March and your trip brings back memories! X

Zouave valley cemetery is incredibly remote. Though not every visitor signs the visitors’ book, most do, and I noticed that no one signed the book for 5 months over the winter. I suspect the Commonwealth War Graves Gardeners are the most frequent visitors! And all the cemeteries are immaculate.

sun glasses working well underground?

Mmm…dear husband left his normal glasses in the van , so he was stuck with the sunglasses because he can’t see long distance without ( the sunglasses are prescription ones) 🤓😂 I did tell him as we were going down the tunnel

It was my Blues Brothers tribute! As Karen pointed out, they are prescription sunglasses which worked great in the bright sunshine above, less so underground.

Was gender even a word back in 1918 or did they use the good old fashioned word sex...LOL and that church was fantastic, as always a great video..👍👍...God Bless Them All.

@@thenoworriesnomad not sure where you mean where we used the word gender. But if we did , it may not have been a word back then. You might have guessed that we aren’t scripted 🤓😁 and we do sometimes say things wrong. And yes that church was so beautiful inside. Thank you for your support and thank you for watching 😊😊

@ oh no no no I’m not knocking what you say, it was a graphic on the screen when you were in your car saying you’re going to the cemetery where every single name is on the wall regardless of rank or gender, forms or documents used to ask what sex are you but now they say what gender are you, and I don’t like it but that’s just me and my opinion, I will always carry on watching your videos

@@thenoworriesnomad, I suppose ‘sex’ was male and female. Now ‘gender’ covers all the different variations that now exist. Oh dear, I’m a boomer! Karen is GenerationX
