Exploring This Abandoned Warwickshire Pub With Train Tracks! It Is A WRECK in 2024!!

In this video we explore an aged abandoned pub in the heart of Warwickshire that was once an epicentre for diners & drinkers, hosting 100's of birthday celebrations and the place for that special family Christmas meal. It was especially know for being a railway side pub and had it's own railway tracks running round the inside of the building.
No forced entry was committed to produce this video, nor any damage or theft.

I never visited due to moving to the area during it's decline but several others I went to school with worked here as their first part time job. I'm aware of the challenges it faced between ownership and customers having to travel to go there (due to location it needed to succeed as a restaurant as it wasn't a drinking pub)

Great story, not far from us in Rugby. I've heard folk speak of a pub with a model railway running through it. Sad to see this now and not to see it then.

Thanks for the feedback my friend. The video has created quite a reaction on local Facebook groups which has brought it back into peoples hearts. Going with my parents as a teenager with my bestie and her parents for a meal out on a Saturday night, late 80’s. My Dad was a train fan! Recently found out my late mother in law Celia used to work in the kitchen.

Originally this pub was adjacent to Harbury railway station which closed decades ago even though the railway line is still very busy. So this building is in the middle of nowhere. Also IIRC there is a huge electricity pylon in the car park which I assumed was part of the problem. Lovely building in lovely countryside but sadly pubs struggle in 21st Century UK.
