Aww the people were so amazing and kind especially Naoko!, so cool that she took an interest in your work and said goodbye in person when you left the island

OMG!! Oshima already looked pretty great and special in Chris's video (recommended for anyone who wants to see Kiri-san, btw!) but now it really looks quite magical. I'm also in love with Naoko San! 😍 Saving this video for my next trip to Japan. Oh, and it's always nice to see Ian in the background! I do little waves 😅

Oh Emma, what a great travel video! You outdid yourself on this one. So many contrasting things to see and do and taste. I love that you are nice to elderly people and they love you because you come from your heart and not your head. You’re such a special woman and l thank you for sharing all these amazing experiences with us. A big hug to you from Adelaide. SA. 💓🦋🌸

Emma, I have been watching you for years and I love every single video you make, but this one really got me. The joy, care, and respect you show every place you go and person you meet really shines here. Seeing Naoko-san come see you off at the ferry really made me cry! It was so clear you connected with each other and it's a once in a lifetime experience to share with us on such a humble, human level. Thank you for being you.

Oshima is so beautiful! From the people to the scenery😍 Naoko coming to say goodbye was so cute to see. And the owner of Triton is living the dream! Pursuing his passion and also having on display his love for bugs. So cool!❤

After you and Chris covering this island I really want to go. Especially when there's amazing people like Naoko who live/work there. I didn't expect her to send you off, that tugged at my heart strings so much. I'd want to say one more goodbye to you too. Lol Oshima looks like a great area to go at your own pace and take in everything.

Just a little pop culture tidbit. The MV for the song "endless Story" from an all-female hard rock band Band-Maid was filmed on the island of Izu Oshima. The cinematography is fantastic. And it's a good song.

Aww what a cool place, and everyone's so nice what the heck? I recognised the black volcanic desert from Band Maid's Endless Story video - I thought it was somewhere cold in the north! Such a pretty and unique location though, looks like you're on another planet with all that fog rolling in. And all that greenery in the same place too
