I cannot believe I’ve been following you for so long! What a ride it’s been! I’ve enjoyed every single video you’ve made. This video was so cute. I have noticed your voice getting deeper as you got older. I think maybe that is part of why you feel differently about it. I can tell the stress of the last couple years has been hard on you, even the way you talk/express your thoughts is different. Not in a bad way at all, just the face of someone who has seen the world more Your bed inspired me to get a loft bed and I’m sitting in it as I type this. You challenged me to think more critically about what is necessary in life. I am now in an 8x8 foot space and having to come up with interesting ways of adapting to the space. I enjoy seeing where this channel goes and thanks for sticking around and including us in all of it!

Two things that caught my attention: 1. Your empathy for those who found and continue to find themselves in closet-sized spaces in lockdown. Indeed. How heart wrenching to consider it. And 2. The inability to optimize a tiny rental space because you have no power to design it. My Tokyo 30 square meter apartment had so much wasted kitchen space with nowhere for the dishes except under the humungous sink taking up way too much potential counter top. Like Chris Broad I used the ironing board as a countertop. With built-in storage and perhaps a Murphy-style bed in the studio space, I might have made it insanely lovely (but for the lack of insulation and central heating/AC).
