I saw this and laughed because I have been saving teabags. I use the family size for iced tea. I was saving them for a collage type thing I saw in another video so was gonna stop saving and today I saw your video, lol

You could bend the edges of the teabags down and attach them to the sides of the canvas. That would give the sides a finished look.

This is very pretty! I’ve been saving tea bags for a while now and am looking for projects to use them in. Love your handmade paper! Will check out your channel for more on that (unless you have a handy playlist?). I see you have “Distress” embossing powder....since they don’t make that anymore they must be pretty old! Do you like them? New subbie here Michigan USA ❤️🦋💜
@EsmericArtMixedMediaPewter Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind words, Cindy. Recently I did another project on stretched canvas (for a gallery exhibition) where I covered dried Fall leaves with teabags; unfortunately, I didn't video it. Please try it; it looks so good. Sadly, I don't have a "paper" playlist. As for the distress embossing powders - yes, they are pretty old.😂 Ranger had replaced them with the Tim Holtz distress embossing glaze, which is translucent.

Just found you. Love this project!! Thx for sharing your talents! Will you please tell me what you used to then apply the embossing powder; what the round tool is called that you use to press down on the stamp; and what you used to distress the sides of the canvas. Thank you for your help. Love this tutorial!
@EsmericArtMixedMediaPewter3 ай бұрын
Thank you for the kind words. 😊I used an Embos It Dabber from Ranger before applying the embossing powder. It is convenient to have one, and there is also a pen you can use for smaller areas and not always have to use the stamp pad. The round tool is called a Stamp Barron from SpeedBall Art. I also have an old iron I picked up from a thrift shop that I use; it works just as well. For the sides, I've used mini stamp pad ink. Mine is from Stampin-Up.

Glad I could help with ideas ~ as for the stamp, unfortunately, I can't remember where and when I purchased it.
