Damn, I thought I would make it through without tears, and then Greta hugs her cousins. Sigh. What a cute little town. I notice 2 things in Italy so far that are not in the USA. The people are very calm, very chill. They walk at normal pace, they are not plowing people down to get where they are going. 2nd, how clean it is there. The streets are clean, even the parking garage was SO clean! Have never seen such a clean parking garage. Greta should pick up some great Italian creams to bring home. I know they use way less chemicals in their products than America does. Love this edit Pompsie, getting more creative every day. Hi Greta! I see the struggle of how much you miss your family. So happy you are there for more than just a few days. Enjoy your beautiful country and all your family.

European cities and villages are great. I agree with Pompsie about the pedestrian streets. It is such a joy to meander the cobblestones without the hassles of traffic and sidewalks.

I am so looking forward to your daily vlogs continuing past your trip to Italy. Since you are a filmmaker… your vlogs have a much different feel than just the average generic vlogs (and I’n talking about good vlogs.. but they’re just filmed different than yours)… They really do have this artistic, behind the scenes feel to them. Which makes them special. And let’s be honest… You know how to use your equipment. Anyway… I’m glad I found you’re channel a couple of weeks ago. Now along with wanting to go back to Las Vegas… I want to go to Italy for the first time. Peace to you and Greta. Continued fun and safe travels. ✌🏽🍄

2:20 Side note: this used to be in America before the car became popular and, in some ways, legislated and forced designed to be more car focused than people/pedestrian focused. There are still some places in America that’s like this or very close. One is in New Jersey actually. If I remember, I’ll post it. Maybe visit it one day. Saw it on one of the urban planning and city life channels.

I never get jet lag, been to 51 countries. Here's the trick: No matter what time you get to the destination you stay up until late (like 1-2 am) local time, even if by then you've been awake for 20 hours....FOrce yourself to stay up late and next day wake up at normal, or a bit later, like 10-11am (local) time and you'll be fine. Nice work.

"one of my favorite parts of italian cities is pedestrian only roadways" hands down there and anywhere else in europe and the world where its understood that you dont build the city around cars like in america. love places like that where its clearly pedestrian and bicycling and amazing public transit. i really wish we'd re-imagine our social public spaces that way in the US and move away from car culture.

when you say como has a population of 600 thousand in comparison to varese's 80 thousand, i don't think you're really comparing the right numbers, what youre comparing for como is the population in the provincia di como, which does have a population of 600 thousand, but thats different to the city population, which is about 84 thousand, varese in comparison does have around 80 thousand city population, which is smaller than como, but in it's province population (because varese is the capital of it's own province as well) it has about 980 thousand, which makes it bigger than como. i just thought i'd mention it as i noticed it in the video and as i live here i knew that the numbers you said weren't exactly right, but i hope this helps
@marcobellavia116010 ай бұрын
Como has about the same population of Varese to be precise. 600.000 are the inhabitants of the Province of Como, which comprises a much larger territory.

Cool vid I’m from Varese and it’s cool to se your city valued like this. Only error, Como has got 80k citizens as well, Como’s county has 600k, and Varese’s county 800k. We are always beefing with Como 😂 So I had to point out even an year later
