There’s a great hike around the perimeter of the park, starting at the visitor center. It takes you right past the rock.

Cool segment. Hot as Hell there but I have loads of childhood memories climbing those rocks. They love using this in movies, especially due to proximity to Hollywood. Another similar and (arguably)even cooler place is Red Rocks amphitheater in Morrison Colorado.
