Another lovely video from the great guiding duo of lesser-known LA. From the large, the Bridge to Nowhere, through the mysterious, the Canned Heat Mystery House, to the tiny, the Music Box Stairs, your obvious enthusiasm and on-screen chemistry gives we viewers, esp non LA residents, a fascinating and highly watchable look beyond the well trodden tourist spots. Its amazing how much LA has changed in the 40 years since my first visit. I've been to LA from the UK half a dozen times, either filming or on holiday, and would explore whenever I could, often for locations used in movies I've seen. I wish your videos had been around then. It was quite some years ago, whilst driving to Acton in the Santa Clara Valley/ Soledad Canyon, looking for locations used in Spielberg's Duel that I came across Vasquez Rocks. I had the place almost to myself. I'm slowly working my way through your back catalogue, which should keep me entertained for another week or two, at least, of lockdown. Long may you both continue to entertain and educate. My only question is how come your channel isnt huge? It should be.

Both my husband and I really love you guys and your Channel. He is a longtime film editor that worked in Hollywood for years and years. We love the way you guys do your homework and really love your presentation style. He wanted me to pass on that your open is really above par. He says that's what stopped him to even look at your channel in the beginning. He says obviously somebody knows how to edit. Keep it up.

I love star trek as well, and I knew that the famous Kirk v Gorn scene had been shot here. But I had NO IDEA that they were so big!! I mean the huge SCALE of their size can be seen when Drew and Bethany CLIMBED these rocks - at 5:15 and also the drone shots at 6:12

Great episode! Graphic at the beginning is awesome! Loved Pronunciation Dave! Great story about Vasquez and how he successfully eluded authorities here. I can see how! Enjoyed the "Hollywood" pieces and can sure see why that rugged terrain made a great location. You guys are a riot also, by the way. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved it.

I lived in Newhall in the mid to late 1980's right off 14 Sierra Hwy. My friends and I would go up on the rocks and smoke weed. Add the tv show FRIENDS to the film locations. Joey shows up to a movie set only to be told the film is shutting down.

When he said “by the way”, what did that have to do with what she had just said? The answer is … NOTHING!! Then why say “by the way”? The phrase “by the way” is meant to bring up a new topic that has at least SOME relation to what the other person had just been speaking about. (That is “the way”.) If it does NOT have any relation at all to what the other person was mentioning, then “by the way” should NOT BE USED, because there is no “way” that it is “by”!!
