Hey Lindy! This was so interesting - the background is perfect for this video. I’ll be honest I hadn’t heard of a lot of these flowers but they are all beautiful especially the first one (I’m not even going to attempt spelling it). Peonies are so pretty to me.

Oh Lindy, I just loved this video! I'm a (former) florist and have always loved flowers but there's a couple I've not seen before this video, so thank you! 🤗 I have a beautiful little book by the same name ("The Language of Flowers" ) by Margaret Pickston which is a lovely copy of what seems to be a notebook from a husband to his wife about the meanings of flowers and it's just a darling treasure. I could listen to/watch you do anything, I swear! I would really love to see you arrange some country bouquets; I'll bet you've got a keen eye for these things! Thank you, as always for a beautiful, informative and enjoyable video 🌷💜

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for leaving such a great comment! I’m really not that good at arranging flowers. My daughter on the other hand is a whiz! I’ll see if I can get her to get on camera with me sometime.😉 I’m going to look for that book that you mentioned. I would love to have a copy of it. Have you ever seen the book the country diary of an Edwardian lady? It is filled with handpainted illustrations the late 1800s. it is also filled with lovely things. Hope you have a great day and thank you so much for watching and leaving such nice notes. It means so much.💕

What a great video! I love flowers so much that it’s hard for me to pick a favorite. Tulips, delphiniums, and peonies are probably my top 3. Peonies always bring back memories of my childhood. My mom had beautiful deep pink peonies that she would pick and put in a big antique pitcher from my grandma. It would make the house smell so good.

Oh my goodness! In my mind's eye, I saw those deep pink peonies in an antique pitcher... I'll bet it was lovely. Thank you for telling me your memory and your favorite flowers! What a lovely video Lindy! So precious we don’t have much blooming here in NJ. But looking at those flowers were a little piece of heaven!! You know I’m gonna try that flower to make that salve for sure. I am looking into finding a holistic doctor at this point so I am doing a lot of research. You looked cute a button today. I love learning about all those 🌸 flowers today. Love the story about forsaken love in Victorian times so interesting. Isn’t it😍. pansies are my favorite flower. I always call them velvet faces. I must’ve heard that somewhere…❤but I do love carnations because they last so long and they smell so pretty most people don’t like them, but I’d rather have somebody send me a dozen carnations then a dozen roses and I do love roses. They just don’tseem the last as long… thank you for all this useful information when you get to know me even better and now I’m like a sponge and I soak up every single thing. I’m an avid learner love to learn everything I possibly can anyway I’m back on site again because I fell asleep. I was so tired. You actually did put me to sleep so I’m re-watching it right now. Have a great weekend Lindy you’re a true sweetheart, Bigs hugs from the Garden state!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Carnations are one of my favorites too because of the reasons you like them! Pansies are your favorite! Awe! They are happy little flowers with their "velvet faces" I've never heard them called that. I will remember that from now on. I hope your day is great! xoxo, Lindy
