Hey! I just had my baby boy 5 weeks ago. Feeding him now and I so want to start saving and budgeting but get overwhelmed. This is EXACTLY what I need. Relaxing tips will help so much as I transition from my career to a SAHM. I’m so thankful for your insight and experience along with your stories of how you raised your home with the love of God. ❤ TY!!!

This video excellently illustrates that it’s not necessary to speak in slow-motion, elongating every word to be “ASMR-effective.” That being said, soup…hot or cold…for breakfast is a bridge too far.

I love your videos, Lindy! I feel like you and I live both very different lives and also wives that are very much the same. The way life worked out for me. I am a single mom of 18 month old being home with her as much as possible was so important to me. I searched for jobs and finally found one at a hospital where I work from 2 PM to 7 PM Monday through Friday and then all day Saturday. I’m blessed to have lots of help from my mother and my sister. My sister will take her all day Saturday and then I’ll help with her daughter on Sunday and my mom helps me in the afternoons so that my daughter only has to go to daycare a couple hours a day just two or three times a week. It is such a blessing and I pray I can keep the schedule going as she gets bigger so that I can homeschool her and spend all this time with her. I love all your budgeting tips off income, but I was able to make it work so I just want to tell anybody out there if you need that second income or you’re a single parent you can. I did have to pay for this type of job but by swapping childcare with my sister and doing different kinds of hours, I don’t need to pay for childcare anymore and my daughter and I are very happy to live frugally We love all the free activities. The library puts on every week as well as only asking for museum and passes for Christmas so that we can utilize those all year, Picnic dates are our favorite weekend activity! I appreciate all your videos and also your tips and tricks in this one!

Hey sweet Lindy!!! Amen Sista!! I did the same thing raising my family almost the same way…. It will pay off even if you can’t see the end of the rainbow it’s there. I also bought store brand products as well most of the time. Oh 😮 that was such a sweet thing that your son said to you….😊 when you spent the day together!!!! I know inside you felt like a job well done when see your children living the way you spent years as a mom, teacher and a role model to them and course with the help of Chris as well. It was well worth the time and effort….everything you taught them and it’s stuck in their little heads and they genuinely appreciate how they were raised with the morals and values you set. My Son❤️ is a minimalist He had the gift the poverty taught to him as well, so he has a respect for money. I was taught the same way, but doesn’t mean you don’t like nice things. Just buy them when you can afford them. That’s one of the things that I love about you and your channel the fact that you’re not pushing constant product like I see so many people on other KZbin channels doing…I am not talking about partnering up with a brands you truly believe in. I mean people are just buying and buying all kinds of stuff just for the sake of it, it’s so wasteful. It’s so refreshing watching your videos because you do not push products that I know are not worth the money. The quality 99% of the time is not there. I don’t live that way. I rather buy something better even it’s a lot more expensive if I know, I’ll use it for years one of the main things is handbags I always invest in really good handbag that I use for 10 to 15 to 20 years because I buy a great quality sometimes less is more has been my motto. This is a great inspirational ASMR video and I hope that all the young ladies and men on this channel take everything you say and think about long and hard about the education you provided here tonight. As always, Lindy it was a pleasure seeing you have a good week. I’ll be thinking about you. I hope everything is getting cleaned up after the storm hopefully they’ll get done soon.Love,Esme💕🌸🌼

Hi Esme! Yes! Quality items win out every time! I am going on year 10 of wearing a classic looking dress that I bought in 2014. I love it and still get compliments every time I wear it. On the other hand, I am a slow learner, because I've spent way too much money on Amazon clothing that wears out or loses it's shape after the third washing. It's hard, but I've had to force myself to stop shopping for clothes there. Also, thanks for noticing that I don't push products. I promise to only tell you all about things that I actually use, love and are beneficial. Talk soon! xoxo

Well hello Lindy!! My kindred spirit that was quite the video!! So much information. I did buy Sally Fallon Morell’s cookbook she has several which are excellent. So thank you for advising that author. As we know my issue is making a snails pace of recovery. I’ll tell you I don’t think I’ve ever been this depressed in my entire life, but I did make the oil facial cleanser you suggested. I am also taking apple cider vinegar every day. I did that for a long time, but I ran out so I’m back to it again, but one thing I can say about oil cleansing at night because of the medication that I’m on my skin feels like stone like its ready crack any minute it’s so uncomfortable. “SO”that oil cleanser really helps tremendously first for hydration and also actually for pain. If you have dry skin especially my skin is dry normally but even if you had combination skin or oily skin, it would still work just as well. You can put on a little more a little less depending on your skin type. The information you gave was fantastic!!! Thank you very much for that video that you did it really helped me. 😊 And Lindy as far as your advice goes, especially to 20 and 30-year-old young women I’m totally on board with that….one income living. I practiced that my entire life since I was 19 never to buy something whether it be a Home or any major purchase if you’re basing it on two incomes definitely not good idea because somebody could get sick somebody might want to be a stay home Mom I was one as well. So I always bought under what we could actually afford never based anything on two incomes. Even when I went back to worked full-time in my career. Great advice to all subscribers listen to Lindy!! Have a great week. Lindy it was great seeing you again. I miss you when you’re not on here!! Love, Esme.🌻💛🌻 P.S.One other piece of advice I have is never fall into all these fads that they’re trying to sell you on the Internet. I completely believe in finding products that work for you and stick with that whether it be make up,skincare or fragrance. When I purchase something whatever the cost may be I know I am going use it. And generally stick to it for years honestly until they don’t sell it anymore and I always stick with natural makeup. You really don’t need much and it should only take you about five minutes to do your make up if you’re spending any more than 5 to 7 minutes on make up, you’re spending too much time. better to focus on skin care and get your skin and great condition then you don’t need much make up at all…..That’s what the beauty industry is all about is to get you to keep buying every new product….and you have to realize that that’s what they’re in business to do.❤ 😊

I’m gonna be honest I don’t really really know how storms work but I live in Nebraska and we got hit with a massive windstorm last Wednesday. It was fast. It only hit us for about 30 minutes, but we just got power back yesterday. It’s 100+ degrees here and it has been miserable, but we’ve been trying to keep good attitudes. My sister and I are blessed enough that we were able to take our daughters to hotel room split the cost and they thought we were on vacation all week lol And that really helped keep spirits up, but now our power is back on. We are coming home to do cleanup The neighborhood which is going to be a chore of itself I hope you guys all stay safe down there. I don’t know like I said how storms work maybe it’s a different storm, but it’s so crazy that earlier last week that’s all we could talk about was getting hit and we did and now I know you guys down below us were getting hit. Stay safe!!
