Capital of Lithuania is known for it's food. Amazing cuisine, we throughly loved it. I was always fascinated to see pagan idols but I got only disappointment. All the previous identity of Paganism has been erased.
I find contrast similarities between Hinduism and Pagan culture of Lithuania. They also used to believe in three levels of worls. Like, we in India do, Swarglok (स्वर्गलोक) , Bhulok (भूलोक) and पाताल लोक Paatal lok.

True, We Hindus don’t worship idols, believing them to be Gods. Rather, we view the statues and images as physical representations of God to help us to focus on an aspect of prayer or meditation. This tradition is reflected in Verse 12.5 of the Bhagavad Gita, which states that only a few have the time and mind to ponder and fix on the unmanifested Absolute (abstract formless Brahman). As such, it is much easier to focus on qualities, virtues, aspects of a manifested representation of God through one’s senses, emotions and heart, because of the way human beings naturally are. I said in a way that how we use statues for worshiping God, they same way most likely the Pagans did. As Christians crusaders destroyed all history of Pagans, it is hard to understand their culture now.
