My mum and stepdad used to run the Plough back in the 90s, Southend and Westcliff were nice back then.

Hamlet Court Road, know it well l used to live at the bottom end of Valkyrie road..near the railway bridge. Glad to see Havens Store still there, although many of the shops l don't recognise or remember. The shop called Southend Taxi Co-Operative .used to be ffords Photographic who l believe moved their operation to Inverness Scotland. Not much of the Southend of my childhood left now...Certainly the High Street is completely different...

I was down at Southend two days ago on Tuesday - beautifully sun and even the sea looked blue just like on the day you filmed this
