Exploring Woonsocket RI - Massive Old Structures and Brick Anomalies Everywhere

Woonsocket is one of these towns that will leave you scratching your head. It's a depressed RI town with drug problems etc. If only the buildings and surrounding areas could talk. They would say something used to be here and you are walking on it. #oldworldArchitecture

The steel anchor points are connected to steel rods that run through the building tying each side together to prevent the walls from buckling outwards.

Why do 100 year old buildings such as this 1896 brick building, seem to look 300+ years old? I love this old world community. The east coast looks incredible, so much to explore there!
