Ya know what the best part about all Franks videos are? Why they're so damn good all the time? Well, I'm about to tell ya why just in case you haven't figured it out yet. Its because there Frank just being Frank no pun intended ;) or maybe it was intended? But that's just the way I feel so ill leave that all up to you folks to decide. So flip a coin and call it in the air!!! Heads or Tails, Either way, I can promise you that you'll be a winner. :) So now what are ya waiting for? The Subscribe and Like buttons to jump up and bite ya in the ass -_- Get your o2 sensor, pick, shovel, ropes/climbing gear, and hard hat on and check to make sure your batteries to whatever lights you're gonna use are all charged and above all safety first so a good start is to make sure you trim your Beard a bit if ya got one so it won't get caught up in your rope workings and put ya in a very scary badass spot to be in. I can tell ya from a friend I have come to know that it really happened to that once that happens to ya you will make sure that once is way more than enough and you will totally make sure that it will never happen again lol ;) So remember a light trim to a man's soup strainer before he goes down on a rope can never hurt and just may under certain conditions end up saving one's life. ;)

The reason I produced this video is to help the producer for our documentary to understand what is up there, what kind of shots we can get and collect some footage that we might want to use. The winners will be announced for the grant on the 7th of September. I am pretty sure we will win because we were leading in the voting for a lot of the time! Help support the channel and buy get an awesome shirt, now in new styles and colors! www.bonfire.com/franks-campaign-66/

Back in 1986 ? I was a claimstaker for Van Alpen exploration working for Noranda spent a few weeks running out claims square 2.5km x 2km and chainsawing lines here. Flew over the dam and came across all sorts of ruins and viaducts. further up the fiord we flew over a huge wooden aerial tramway that went from the side of the fiord to the ridgeline... amazing what these old timers got up to. There was a mountain that had been mined out and its top had fallen in, you could see mineshafts. This could have been the last part of the video although it looks as though more has fallen in. There is a book I heard of the town. We had a camp for the chainsawing / linecutting and the claimstaking was out of Stewart by helicopter. Thanks for posting this it brings back all the memories

My Dad worked for CIL early in his career ! He sold explosives and was a driller blaster . We have old CIL hats and belt buckles ,cool pencils and small knives . Lots of other powder companies hats and assorted things that he collected over the years . I guess the explosives reps would hand out these items out when visiting the work sites to sell explosives . He worked with Prime Explosives and Titan Explosives later . Seeing those sweaty sticks was interesting and the hugeness of everything there is very cool :) thanks for this it really was a great video !

Amazing stuff, I once worked in Salt mining as a mechanic. 1600 feet down on a island Cote Blanche for Compass minerals. 12 hours A-day 7 days week. Constant threat of water leaking in, Gas leaks, scales falling, fires, cave in 110 to 120° heat all year. I made a bunch of money and got out. I miss it sometimes. And this guy is going in for free! hard core dude!

I found this channel about 2 weeks ago and some of these mines are stunning. Im from tasmania in Australia and there's a lot of old gold mines there, I've been inside some of the old ones that looked solid (there's many that I just wasn't even going to dare going inside) I've always had a fascination with old mines and caves I'd love to do this stuff one day it's awesome to see someone document as many as they possibly can because in the near future they will be history thats documented on a map and that's it. Keep up the awesome work guys 👍
