I've seen a blue million shows about this place. You guys were very informative and I learned a lot watching this. I'm an EMT and sometimes we take people to Cincinnati. We've crossed the river a time or 2 and stopped by here. It's always been closed. We stood outside the basement door and my partner was provoking evil spirits. He regrets it to this day. He had a horrible stretch of bad luck and even started seeing things in his own house.

Ive provoked at Mackey's before. From inside the basement alone. Nothing. I said if you can prove yourself to me you can have my soul. You can use my energy and come home with me and hurt all my loved ones in front of me. I give my life to you if you show yourself or make your self known. Among other things I said while I was down there. That was the last thing I said when I was down there before I left. It was a Hail Mary Pass attempt but all I got was crickets. I went down there with Carl before too. Nothing. I think I just have bad luck at attracting spirits.

Glad to see you here in Kentucky again! So, crazy story - Back in the mid 90's my best friend had part of her bachelerette party at Bobby's... most of the night I was sitting at the bar talking with a lady. She was dressed in 1970's clothes, but I thought nothing of it. She had long brown hair, with a cowgirl hat, very pretty and friendly. I talked and drank with her all night, completely ignorant of my big group of friends. She and I had one dance on the dance floor, talked all night. Later, my friends came to me at the bar and asked me what the heck I was doing talking to myself at the bar. I'm like, well meet my new friend, I turned to introduce, and she was gone. I said, "didnt you see me dancing with her on the dance floor?" I mean, I could not imagine anyone missing us. And I was told I was dancing by myself, there was no girl. At the end of our night there, she and I were outside, as my group of friends was boarding the bus to go to the next spot. She asked if she could come with us, I said of course! Exactly then, a friend came running up like ok lets go to the next place. I turned to my new friend to drag her along with us and she was gone. This was a split second- no way she would be no where in sight. She straight up disappeared! I am still haunted to this day about my experience there. That lady was there I swear!!! I hung out with a freakin spirit all night, totally clueless to the possibility, no clue....creeps me out to no end, still, when I think of it. That place is no joke. I've always thought, I wish I could know who she was.

this place was the first video that ACTUALLY was what started The Ghost Adventures...... this was also the first times we had seen Nick Groff with Zak Bagans and Aaron Goodwin before Nick Groff left The Ghost Adventures....... they actually did this place twice, one that actually started The Ghost Adventures program series and the second time they visited this place was when they returned to Bobby Mackeys in The Ghost Adventures season 4...... in the 4th season Return to Bobby Mackey's was the 3rd episode....actually that place has scared so many people..... buti wonder why nothing seems to affect Bobby Mackey himself? i mean, there must have been some things that have happened to him to at least believe in the other side.... but he is just so skeptical (or at least that's what i think he is from the last time i saw a video featuring Bobby Mackey's) but this would be awesome to see through Seth's and Josh's eyes.......

Single handle, this is the most genuine BOBBY MACKEY investigation I’ve ever seen. TY JOSH & crew!!! No one, that I have seen at least, has had Mr. Bobby himself & been so respectful to the location. Frankly , imho, Zak is a hack. A showman. It’s all about ego with him. That being said, you KNOW he finally experienced a true situation here, as he said he would never go back in there, & to my knowledge, hasn’t. I used to live in Northern Kentucky. I met Carl a couple times and Wanda Kay and Bobby Mackey. Went there a lot over the years. Sometimes just to enjoy the bar aspect of it. I feel like Bobby knows best about what goes on in there. I went in the basement alone before. Nothing happened to me. I was begging for it to. I've actually been to a lot of Haunted places and I've caught nothing outside of EVP's. I used to be a real believer in paranormal but have since changed my mind slightly. After going to Waverly, Mackey's, Odd Fellows, Vaile Mansion and several other not as notable places I've personally never really experienced anything. I was the guy that if you told me it was the most active room in the place I'd be in there before you could finish your sentence, alone and ready to experience anything. Maybe I'm just unlucky. RIP Carl and Wanda. They were great people.

Given how close the tracks and how they operate even at night, you’d have them shaking for far longer with the conductor sounding the horn as they approach the area. Trust me, even in a brick building you can hear it quite well. Went to college blocks from an active rail line and you could hear it from the innermost rooms on the other side of campus behind layers of brick.

Went here one night with friends many years ago not knowing the history. Just thinking it was a normal/fun bar and from the moment I was in there I had a horrible feeling and my own little experience. I was there about an hour and had to leave. I couldn't handle what I was feeling. At the time I didn't understand why I felt the way I did. But a couple days later my friend told me it was supposedly haunted and I researched it. After I learned all I did, I swore I would never step foot on that property again 😬

I first heard of Bobby Mackey's bar like over 25 yrs ago and am surprised this man is _still_ somehow a skeptic and had experienced absolutely nothing paranormal during that time in between. So I feel almost forced to believe now that whatever spirits still reside in there must be trying not to spook him and scare him away so that the bar could remain open for as long as possible.

This is local to me... well, I live across the river in Ohio, so its about 30 mins from me. I'm 40 now, but I used to go here in my early 20s for the bar and bull rides. I wasn't into paranormal back then so it never really crossed my mind even though I had heard the stories. I remember the sign on the door saying they aren't responsible if anything paranormal happens to you.. or something along those lines. It's been so long now but I have several good memories of drunken nights there with my friends😁

I live in Fishers, Indiana and I am familiar with Greencastle! There is actually a very dark home with a very dark history located in Carmel by my hometown that belonged to Herb Beaumayer (I think that was his last name) I’ve never been myself but that might be a unique location to visit sometime!
