ive been to multiple different psychiatric wards, the reason why each floor is different is because different groups of patients are more "at-risk" than others, or have different specialty treatment plans, or the duration of their stay may be longer or shorter. the crisis unit is very short term so its meant to be lively to bring someone out of a depressive state, and some wards have more amenities because they're meant for patients who will be there longer

I usually hate graffiti in abandoned places but a lot of the stuff there looks really good. The state should repurpose that building maybe convert it into a homeless shelter or apartments.

I used to work for BPC in 2019 and stayed for 3 years at 1500 Waters Place which is the Adult Building. I’ve always heard about this abandoned building and actually walked past it many times on my lunch break. I’m shocked that it’s even been vandalized since they have security driving around constantly. Anywho- the older people who used to work in this abandoned building always told me some stories and I’m glad to finally see how it look thanks to you! In the new building, it’s smaller of course and sucks that this part of the building is not open anymore because there is an high amount of patients that would come in and need help. This building would’ve been so helpful! It really sucks how this city runs. We need larger hospitals like this to help out mental crisis! It’s always something with money! Should raise a Go Fund Me for places like this seriously!!!!!

I appreciate your videos especially the fact that I can explore without leaving my home. I live near Letchworth Village in upstate NY. Supposedly holds a lot of good and bad history. The building’s are mostly abandoned and it’s so sad to see how people have gone in to vandalize them. Some of these buildings are haunted so when I walk the grounds I don’t go inside. Lol I’m also happy to see that people in these places took mental health seriously but I do wonder what happened to all of those people when the place closed down. Thank you again for showing us these huge, unfortunately, abandoned places.

Your "canon lamp" is a spot light for the stage. Usually there's a small room in the back of the theater above the back seats where Spots like this would be. If it's an arc-source lamp (which it looks like) it would get very hot and the fan was needed to keep it from over heating. (Drama geek here, ex-spot light tech).
