Guys!I want to tall you a story.Today,when i was serfing the internet i saw this video.It was 11 minutes and i thought no,i dont want to listen this song(I'm so lazy).But something had gone wrong and i push play button.And after 30 sec. of listening this song i thought: Oh God this is the best song i ever heard.I don't really know why,but now i want to play guitar,to have a big journey or stuff like that(cause i'm sitting near the computer all day long)Guys, you are the best

ive only seen these guys 3 times live, they never cease to amaze me. Upon rewatching this for the hundredth time, i cant even imagine having been a person who saw them perform this live for the first time. The energy they would have exuded for that performance would be locked into that singular moment

I actually like some of the clapping and cheering, because it shows those people are feeling the music, and feedback like that can be very encouraging for a band. I guess there is just certain times that are more appropriate for that kind of behaviour.

Post-rock is rather similar in expression to classical music - if you went to an orchestral performance of bach and started clapping you'd probably get thrown out. For some people, listening to this type of music is about getting lost in the sound, something that can be ruined by the guy next to you hooting and clapping like it's a metal concert.

audience is disgusting, i was at a this will destroy you gig and the drummer stood up and threatened to punch someone for talking through a quiet part of the song.

That sounds a lot more "disgusting" to me than Explosions allowing the crowd to enjoy the music. Of course people are gonna show up and cheer and clap; it's a club show. If it were a concert hall, it'd be a little different. There's a reason why Explosions CHOOSES not to play them.
