Was Lindsay using a white or silver Rogue2? Thanks in advance. Thumbs up.

In the first half of the video, Lindsay is using the SMALL (white) Rogue FlashBender 2. Then she switches over to the LARGE (white) Rogue FlashBender 2. Then she adds a Rogue 32" Super Soft Silver Reflector to bounce the light. Hope that helps! :)

I have the large and XL Pro 2. Do you know what size reflector is used in the video? 20" Westcott?
@ExpoImagingInc7 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure about the exact size or brand of the reflector that Lindsay used during this video shoot. It does appear to be about 20" or so. We do offer a really nice Rogue 32" Super Soft Silver Reflector that you should be sure to check out if you're looking to purchase a reflector: www.rogueflash.com/collections/collapsible-reflectors Thanks!

I watched a lot of tutorial videos on the flash bender, but I notice no one tells you what settings they are using. I am a newbie to flash. No one tells the settings they use to get these cool photos. Is the flash on the sync speed? How about the aperture? Just an observation.

+Thomas Vickers Great questions! these videos are mostly based on technique rather than technical aspects. we do have the blog posts that go along with the videos at RogueFlash.com and most of them feature the camera settings for the shots. However if you're looking for the flash settings, it is very difficult to say. Many of the photographers in our videos are using TTL, some use manual but didn't note what their flash settings were. The settings are all dependent on what flash you own, how far away your subject is, your ISO, environmental lighting, the way you're modifying the flash. There's no easy recipe for lighting, but if you ever need assistance we're happy to help! Just email us at support(at)expoimaging(dot)com. Thank you, -The ExpoImaging Team

The shadow under the nose at end shot. How do you get that out?
@ExpoImagingInc9 жыл бұрын
Barky Von Schnauzer You can reduce the amount of shadow under a nose by doing a few things, using a reflector to minimize the shadow, adding another flash to fill in the shadow, or repositioning the light downward so that the shadow isn't so dramatic. Hi Steven, every setup is going to require some fine tuning depending on where you're shooting and the different environmental factors that can play into the image. Try continuing to adjust your modifier's angle and position in order to get your desired effect, nothing in photography is a perfect recipe :) For more tips from this shoot, make sure to read the blog post that goes along with it: rogueflash.com/blogs/blog/16834892-creating-drama-and-glow-in-portraiture-with-lindsay-adler-and-flashbenders
