Export Image as .TIFF with 300dpi from PowerPoint using macOS - Step by Step Tutorial

I have come across different colleagues in the academia asking me how to export figures in TIFF format, either when they are trying to submit to journals or when they are trying to print their posters for conferences.
This is a short tutorial that demonstrates how to export diagrams/ pictures in TIFF format while meeting specific dimensions and dpi(dot per inch) requirement using macOS.
Softwares that you need include (1) Microsoft PowerPoint, and (2) Preview (a built-in app in mac computers).
