EXPORT MOD : Jopix HAM-10 And Other Related Radios

Welcome to the M0OGY Radio and Antenna Review channel.
I show how to enable the Export modification on the Jopix HAM-10 ten meter radio .
This is also the case for the Chierda S890 (The manufacturer's own brand) and the Moonraker Titan line of radios.
PLEASE NOTE On the CB BAND setting It does include the European Multi-Norm frequencies including UKFM for the United Kingdom. But due to the high power output of 40 Watts, it is ten times over the legal limit and whilst the radio does have adjustable power, it isn't type approved for Citizens' Band Radio use

"Some" companies add the mods and they don't like people showing it, it didn't take me long to work it out , I hope it helps a few and saves them going inside the radio. 🙂

Great video Dave. I actually really like this, I think the size, and the front styling is really good. I know looks are subjective, but for me, I think it looks really nice, and that's quite important to me as it's the part you spend 99% of your time looking at.

Thanks for your kind comment Nik. I prefer the Jopix branded models and find the company helpful. So took a while to get this version. I totally agree with you regarding the size of the radio, it is really short and ideal for mobile installation. I wanted to try one as some versions has had a bit of a panning and the only thing that does need improving is the FM audio level. Looks wise, it does look better in the flesh, Personally I'm not a big fan of the looks, but as you say very subjective . For the price point of an AM/FM radio, it is somewhat of a bargain and worth a try. Dave 🙂

@@m0ogy you will see more keep using the radio . try the rfp . you can wind down the power and key you want 10 watts for your linear . everything looks good you got your 10 watts . but after about 6 to 8 times you key the mic it goes full power then back to 10 watts . this a big problem .
