I think it looks better in real life as in photos, I think the main think is how it works On -air

Spot on these Dave for the money especially if SSB is your thing. Apparently every version of this boarded radio has its niggles so it will be interesting to hear your findings, on a whole it is a little bargain. I can’t say too much but i will be reviewing a newly upgraded version of this under the UK brand i previously reviewed shortly.…Thanks for the video.

Thanks for the comment Neil, maybe this Jopix version is upgraded the same, it's only been here a week or so. SSB is what I prefer, I have plenty of legal FM CB Radios I can use. .Great news about your review, I'll keep an eye open for it. I have some really good ones coming up too, in fact looking the best year fir a long time 🙂

Same as Chierda S890 does it have Software for it ?

I'm not sure ref software, but you are correct with the Chierda S890.......certainly not a Magnum 1 ( I own a Magnum 1 , funny I got mine out the other month to look at it, they are great, having a TXCO too.)

with the low adiuo i think a sharp shoter would work with ur radio

nope sharp shooter hardly changes the level tried it . even an mc80 base mic gives same result . many small problems with the radio i have it named moonraker titan . claimed to have all probs sorted . then again buy cheap get cheap

as an ssb radio it is perfect and worth every penny spent . if you use fm more buy another radio as the audio on fm and am is poor . even a power mic does nothing to improve it .

i have the moonraker one and for the money its ok i own better and got rid of worse all in all not bad.

just so you know this is a cheap clone of the magnum one the magnum one is a much better radio

NO It is not a clone of a Magnum 1, absolutely nothing the same other than two bug eye screens...........I actually own a Magnum one and I agree it is a superb radio kzbin.info/www/bejne/fpm9lqNjbtmabqc
